Lexus LF-NX; a mean-Hybrid SUV ready to rival the Evoque

Lexus is preparing its fleet to introduce in the Geneva Motor Show, next March. The LF-NX Concept which was initially

introduced at Frankfurt Motor Show and then Tokyo Motor Show in recent months, is now ready to challenge the Range Rover Evoque in Geneva. Sales are expected to start the next summer. The LF-NX will maintain the same styling as shown in the concept. Director of Lexus for Europe, Paul Van Burgh says that customers are looking for more expensive Lexus, so we are trying to transform concepts into real finished cars with natural designing and style. The unique design of LF-NX definitely stands apart in its class.

LF-NX is a different kind of SUV and represents the new generation of automobiles with a smart combination of high-tech technologies and fabulous design that suits the customer base in Europe. Not only the exterior is very eye catching but also the interior is quite modern with black and sunrise yellow leather interposed by dazzling metal and blue illumination. Touch sensitive electrostatic controls, a new retain of Remote Touch Interface for the central console, sporty vibe and modern styling features symbolize the Lexus LF-NX. The LF-NX concept will be powered by a combination of 2.0 litre Atkinson cycle l-4 engine and an electric motor to built up a hybrid power-train for extended SUV performance. It has three driving modes electric only, hybrid and petrol only. The LF-NX will be able to sustain with rivals like BMW X1, Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz GLA and most importantly the Range Rover Evoque. Though it will produce more than 200bhp of power punch, but it is still well below the RX450h, capable of producing 295bhp. LF-NX is based on Toyota RAV4 and is about five inches smaller in length than the RX, which has a total length of 188 inches and LF-NX is of 182.5 inches.
