1976 : General Motors Korea name changed with Saehan Motor.
1982 : Daewoo Group gets bigger control the name was changed to Daewoo Motor.
1990 : The Company in progress to increased heavily all over the world.
1993 : Vietnam-Daewoo Motor Company Limited (VIDAMCO) was authoritatively started as a joint-venture among Daewoo Motor Corporation (Korea) and the 7983 Mechanic Union Enterprise under Ministry of Defense.
1995 : Vietnam-Daewoo Motor Company Limited launched the first car name "Cielo"

2002 : VIDAMCO launched the Daewoo Magnus 2.0 in February and launched the New Matiz in Vietnam market in August.
2004 : VIDAMCO produced the GM Daewoo Magnus Eagle and Magnus L6 in January.
2005 : VIDAMCO produced the Magnus L6 Diamond and Color Matiz March 11.
